Hey, guys this week’s blog is all about my morning breakfast routine. I am not only Vegan but also Gluten Intolerant as well. So, today I will give you information on one of my morning breakfast routine.
At least 3 times a week I have chia seed pudding. The chia seed pudding is very nutritional and gives me the right amount of vitamins and energy, that I may need throughout the day.
By adding chia seeds in my breakfast, I am instantly adding nutritional benefits: such as fiber and other Vitamins such as B3 (Niacin), Potassium, Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) and Vitamin B2 and fiber.
I also add nuts, as they are full of protein. By adding nuts in my breakfast I always get a rush of energy, which overcomes my body feeling tired and fatigue.
Using coconut milk in my breakfasts adds a balance to my nutritional intake. Coconut milk is highly nutritious and rich in fiber, vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6 and minerals including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous.
Cacao powder is another great ingredient to include in your diet. There are many ways you can include cocoa powder in your diets, this can be via smoothies or even coffee.
When I want to make my breakfast more nutritional and exciting, I add cocoa powder. Cacao powder contains Magnesium, and other essential minerals including; calcium, sulfur, zinc, iron, copper, Potassium, and manganese.
My breakfast may not seem very exciting, but it gives me a lot of energy throughout the day, my stomach stays flat and I also feel really great too.
And due to a vegan diet, I can miss out on getting a lot of essential vitamins and minerals, such as protein from meat. Protein is an important part of our health and diet; hence, it is vital that we find a way to include protein in our diet.
Importance of protein
Our body uses protein to make enzymes, hormones, and other body chemicals. Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage, skin, and blood this is why I add nuts in my breakfast.
How to prepare the CHIA SEED PUDDING
I take 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and handful of broken mixed nuts, I then add cacao powder and coconut milk in my bowl. I mix the ingredients together and wait until they settle down.
By preparing my breakfast at night, the coconut milk has enough time to softens the nuts overnight, and as, a result they are easier and softer to eat.

The final ingredient is the fruit dates. Dates add sweetness to the pudding and are also rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber too.
